ICE STORM 2007
We know it sounds crazy, but during the week of January 16, 2007, Austin experienced a rare ice storm that paralyzed the city. They even cancelled the inaugural parade and moved the ceremony inside. We enjoyed some extra downtime as a family and even got outside a little to enjoy the rare winter scene. When our power went out for 15 hours, we headed over to Grama & Grampy's condo to borrow their heat. We found out Cal is a big sissy when it comes to cold weather so we mostly stayed inside roasting marshmallows.
