THE SALT LICK -

We recently took advantage of some beautiful weather and a Friday night with nothing on the calendar and took the boys out for their first trip to the world famous Salt Lick BBQ restaurant in Dripping Springs about 30 mins outside of Austin. It's BYOB so we packed a cooler and enjoyed the weather while we waited to be seated and enjoyed a family friendly Happy Hour complete with live music (EVERYTHING in Austin is complete with live music these days). The boys loved an excuse to suck down a juice box (we don't offer them except on special occasions and stick to milk or water otherwise). And there is a lot of running & dancing room on the patio - two of their fave activities. Cal seemed to prefer the bread to the BBQ and Griffin is way into sausage these days. All in all they were very well behaved and we all enjoyed it.
