FIRST SMILE!!! Well, not the very first one but the first one we were quick enough to capture with a camera. Cal clearly loves his activity gym. He loves to look around while he is holding his head up with his big strong neck!
We love his long eyelashes that have sprouted out recently.

Here we are getting ready to go to the big Tx-OSU football game. Too bad the score wasn't bigger on the Texas side....Cal is working on being able to hook 'em. Mom and Aunt Amy Lambert helped.

Cal is officially 6 weeks old and growing like a weed. He is getting great at holding his head up and likes to practice standing up - with assistance. He is trying to find his thumb but so far just ends up eating his whole fist a lot. He is sleeping like a champ at night - 7.5 hours one night this week. He also likes to hold mom's hair and enjoys playing with his activity gym. He scoots around pretty good during tummy time and can't wait to crawl....yikes!

Labor Day 2006 - Cal's first pool party. Luckily it was not too hot. Cal enjoyed most of the party from his view in the swing under the porch. But he did get out and enjoy some time on a raft in the pool, too! Ahhh, the sweet life.

Cal went to his first college football game today, as the Texas Longhorns dismantled the Mean Green of North Texas. Here's Mom and Cal in their Longhorn outfits on the porch of the Exes Center cooling off -it was about 100 degrees.... We saw lots of friends at the UT Alumni Center and had a blast!
