CHRISTMAS (PART II) IN ARKANSAS
The day after Christmas we traveled to Arkansas and celebrated with Nana Claire, Big-Skinny Daddy Wayne, Aunt Christine and Uncle David in Hot Springs. Toys, toys, TOYS!!! CHRISTMAS IN OKLAHOMA
We spent Christmas and a few days before in OKC with the Phillips clan - unfortunately we were short one branch of the family tree. Cal's cousin Q caught a bad respiratory virus the week before and was very sick (and very contagious) over the holidays. His whole family was quarantined and it was not the same without them. We hope to schedule some time with them in January. We did manage to get some fun photos from Christmas Eve (Cal lasted almost all the way through the Candlelight service) and Christmas Day. And Cal learned the true meaning of Christmas - PRESENTS!!!

FLYING THE FRIENDLY SKIES
With the holidays came travel to see the grandparents. Cal took his first plane rides - 6 of them before we were finally home. We were gone for 8 days which was probably a little long for the little guy. But it was worth it to share the joy of Cal with both sides of the family. Here are some photos of the airplane experience. Cal was really well behaved. He slept half the time and looked out the window the rest. We may have a little pilot on our hands!

DECEMBER TO REMEMBER
Cal will be 5 months old at Christmas. He will be taking his first plane trips - first to Oklahoma to see the Phillips clan and then to Arkansas to see Mike's family. He he has spent the month working on his charm so he'll have it down pat by them time he gets to see everyone. CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
Cal is fired up for his first Christmas. We had our first photo with Santa which was a huge success (Cal is too young for "Santa fear" and we even got a smile out of him). We also did some shopping at the Jr League's A Christmas Affair where mom was busy busting the all-time cookbook sales record as the League's Cookbook Chair. We ran into Cal's old friend Murphy Sampley who was born the day after he was in the same hospital to mom's friend Kelly. What a fun reunion!
