Apparently Nana gives better baths than mom and dad.

GOING TO THE CHAPEL...

Who knew Cal loves weddings so much?? Well, to be fair, he liked the reception a lot more than the ceremony. He danced the night away and tried to catch the garter but the other guys had a height advantage. He was quite fond of the lady in the big white dress and enjoyed meeting all the members of the Mike's family he had not seen yet.

RETURN TO THE LAND OF THE HOGS

In late August we traveled to Arkansas for Mike's cousin's wedding. Cal was a little frustrated sitting on planes for so long but enjoyed running down the jetways. We got to see lots of family including Big Daddy Wayne, Nana Claire, Uncle David and Aunt Christine, and Great-Grandmothers Ludie and Gammy. As usual, Cal charmed everyone in the nursing home and made lots of new friends.

FIRST DAY AT NEW SCHOOL
On August 15, 2007, Cal started a new day care. It is a private school called Hyde Park Baptist and many of our friends recommended it. The kids in the class all seem really nice and Cal jumped right into the swing of things on the first day - ready for his snack! They go to the playground twice a day and have music classes and do all sorts of fun projects. Most of the kids don't sleep in cribs but use napmats on the floor so we invested in a mat for Cal. They only take one 2 hour nap a day but he manages to get by. Bedtime has been moved up to 8:00 which helps him catch up on sleep. He usually sleeps at least 12 hours, many times more like 13-14. Good baby!
